By that I assume you mean [log in to unmask]  That would be for the
postmaster of the mail system, as I understand it.  I did send a cc:
of my item to that address. But the mail system postmaster, at most
sites with large LISTSERV presence, is usually, or at least often,
not the same as the LISTSERV system administrator, hence one uses the
generic "listserv-request" address for the LISTSERV administrator.

Far as I know, there is no such thing as @listserv.loc.gov, so there
wouldn't be a [log in to unmask]
