One technique that I have seen used on a few lists with a high degree of
success is to put a few lines of comments regarding unsubscribe directions
in a footer that appears at the end of every message. These lists are high
traffic, high subscription/unsubscription lists. The technique does seem to
reduce the tendency to constantly see those unsubscribe messages.
