When a userid is deleted from a list, it IS immediately
deleted and no NEW distributions will be generated via
LISTSERV. Nevertheless, mail that was already placed in the
distribution system is NOT recalled. Sort of like telling
your favorite record club to cancel your subscription, but
you still receive an unwanted record (OK, so I'm showing my
age, make that a CD club) because it was already in the smail
system.

So, more e-mail bounces could occur after the DEL.

Advice:

If you have not already done so, update your list definition
for * SUBSCRIPTION= OPEN,CONFIRM.

Also, you should investigate the PROBE feature, if available
on your version of LISTSERV.
