Some mail receiving agents still bounce messages to the "From:"
address in the message header instead of to the "SMTP From" address in
the transmission envelope. In the case of a list this means the
message bounces to the original sender instead of to the bounce
address specified by the mailing list software. It happens to me
occasionally as a message poster, and it is extremely annoying.
If these is no Denis Bindley on your list, could one of your
subscribers be forwarding messages to a bad address? That is always a
source of mysterious bounces. There may be other possibilities as
well, but that's all I have to offer.
