In addition to what J.H.  recommends, don't forget that if your
list does NOT maintain archives (notebooks), that you will need a
* DIGEST= list definition which will require some support of your
listserv-maintainer to allocate disc space.
 
As far as frequency is concerned, I don't think you can have more
than one explicit timed distribution per day, but it you make
your digest small enough, various "forced" digests will be "cut"
automagically during the interval selected.
