I just talked to a shaw.ca (not SHAW.CA!) technician who tells me that
their efforts to solve the problem on the weekend were fruitless and,
since it is only one of many problems they are having, and it is the
Christmas season, they will not be trying out any new fixes before the 7th
of January!
