I've searched the archives for "local" AND ("*" OR "wild") but come up
with nothing, so I'll go public with the question
 
Are wildcards permitted in the "local=" entry in LOCAL SYSVARS?  With
 
local= node "ALBNY*" "*.albany.edu"
 
I want to include all BITNET nodes beginning with "ALBNY" and all
Internet nodes in the albany.edu domain.
