OK, y'all, I'm getting desperate and grouchy on this issue.

Even after posting the question here and to newsgroups in the news.*
hierarchy, I can't seem to get a clean answer. buslib-l and a half dozen
other lists from idbsu.idbsu.edu were formerly gatewayed to Usenet as
bit.listserv.listname via AUVM. WHY am I still getting stuff like this
when there is no subscription on the list for *@*auvm* or *@*american*
?? See quoted msg headers below....headers are complete and untouched....

I know there is a way to kill the groups so they don't keep bouncing around
usenet full of spam and an occasional good message. However, no one here
knows how, and I sure don't. And, I'm not sure what level of authority,
and who has it, to get the groups killed and no messages coming from them.
Any clues?

I even sent a message to the help desk at uunet and got no reply.....which
shows how desperate I was.

Any help appreciated.

dan
