We know they are two different things, but we have felt that we needed
both, XMAILER (not LMAIL) for things it gets to see, LISTSERV for mail
that bypasses mailers.  (We do have a few vocal users who insist on
corresponding with the stone age and get really mad when their mail
isn't forwarded.)
