Bounces and Probing

We are running ListServ 16.0 on LINUX

Our issue that we are running into is that our bounces are not being processed. 

1. Email are being sent out to Lists

2. Email Addresses on lists are bouncing

3. Our server log reflects bounced email addresses are coming back

4. These bounces are not being recognized by ListServ. First indicator is you go to Server Dashboard and there are no bounces being reflected.

This had been working and then suddenly it stopped. Of course no one is admitting to any changes, but something must have changed.

Our system administrators are reluctant to apply the suggested patch to sendmail to allow listserv probing, because of ongoing support issues to patch sendmail.

Is there an alternative way for me to route those bounces to a mailbox or recipient that could still be processed by ListServ?
