Yes, I recall that as the other solution. Delete files. In my case I needed to keep them. A feature request for us would be the ability to move the notebooks to non lsoft storage on a web site. We use google appliances to search stuff like this and find it does the job better then most anything.

True, he can turn off reverse indexing, but there is probably still a big hunk of binary goo in that notebook that he might want to remove on general principles.  Also, turning off reverse indexing affects the entire server, not just the one list.
