Attached is the oddest piece of mail I've seen in months. How could a
rejection note for a piece of mail NOT sent via LISTSERV get popped into
the LISTSERV network?? stm

I am testing our communications link and would like to inquire about
the status of my US-Italy proposal INT-8714578. The base research
grant has been approved (IRI-8704718) so I am eager to ensure that
I can continue the collaboration with my Italian colleagues.
