I'm sorry you don't have that option, but that is not an issue
I can resolve for you.

I'm sorry you have unhappy customers, but I have to believe
that all eight million AOL customers would be *much* less happy if
the entire AOL mail system was eliminated as a result of failing
to take whatever measures are necessary to protect it.

I'm sure you'd take whatever measures you felt were necessary
to protect your systems, and we're doing the same for ours.

In the meanwhile, AOL does provide the option of hosting lists
on our own listserv.aol.com, and any AOL customer can apply to have
a list hosted. In fact, many non-AOL customers also have lists
hosted on listserv.aol.com, as a generous benefit to the 'net.

I'm fairly confident that our list management folks would
be inclined to grant those requests from AOL customers that are
currently having problems on other Listserv installations, because
of the changes we've been forced to make to the AOL Internet mail
gateway system.

However, that's an issue you (or they) will need to bring up
with our list management folks.
