If you edit the .lognnnn files, then remove the appropriate index file, your
web archives should remain in sync. And, even if you don't remove the index
file, LISTSERV should rebuild your indexes once a night.

Subject: Removal from archives

If an inappropriate message appears, is it possible to remove it from the
archives by simply editing the .lognnnn and .digest files? The resulting
archives seem to retain the message, but the body is empty. I wouldn't want
the various index files to go out of synch.
