Gee, I've *HAD* a strong dislike of VAX clusters for a while now for this
very exact reason.  Actually the problem is not DEC's, it is Joiner's by
they way JNET was designed.  To avoid having to search for where a user
was logged in to deliver interactive messages, said messages are handled
as if the cluster were not a cluster.  Enqueueing mail was not as hard.
 
Now if they could make a "cluster" appear to all system programs as if
it were truly one node............
