If the bounces are from very recent methods, then patience is your
only help ;-)

Don't know if this will help, but IF your are using L-Soft's
LMAIL, you can prevent users from receiving list mail (maybe
only generated by LISTSERV ?), yet continue to receive
person-to-person mail.
