Hello --

Is anyone experiencing an anomaly with digest-capable lists?

Here at MiamiU, most all of our lists are digest-capable on a daily basis.
Beginning yesterday morning (Wed, 26 Oct), the six of our lists that have
subscribers set to Mail=Digest began treating each new posting as an item
to be digested. Per the following log, the normal daily digests were
generated as usual beginning about one minute after midnight. But a little
over an hour later receipt of each new message apparently started causing a
new digest to be produced.

Here's our log:

Steve Moore and I have taken preliminary looks at LISTSERV's disks
to see if space is running low on any of them (in case LISTSERV
might be creating and distributing digests so it could blow away
its digest temp files to recover disk space), but the disks look
okay, space-wise. The headers of the lists involved have not
been changed recently, so we don't *think* it's anything we did :-)

Is this just us (MiamiU) or are others experiencing this too?

Thanks for any tips!

John
