Well, it's pretty similar to maintaining 10 lists on the VM version.  And the
instructions on how to FTP over a list actually *do* work.  The biggest problem
is that you have to fix the Notebook= entry in the header to specify a pathname
rather than a disk address..

Well.. other than setting up the /etc/aliases file as per the documentation,
there's not much script or program to do.

Gaak. No.  You probably do *NOT* want to have this sent to your mailbox - it
contains basically the same information as the VM console log does.  Especially
for high-volume sites, this file could easily get larger than your mail
system could handle (the listserv.log for listserv.vt.edu for yesterday ran
to 21 megabytes - this *will* give sendmail indigestion.... ;)
 
What you *probably* want to do is write a little program that reads the
Listserv and Sendmail logs and produces a one-page summary of activity,
and just keep the logfiles on disk if you need to refer to them in case of a
problem.
