I admit it. Ditching our BITNET node was a horrible tragedy. *sniffle*

But getting rid of "Server blah blah blah" and other bounces from
MIZZOU1.MISSOURI.EDU (of the "Tables: 10/95" fame) was a mitigating
factor. Since GWUVM was the old BITNET gateway to GULFNET, we got many,
many, many of them.

I also took the trouble of mailing umpteen addresses at Missouri state
offering them line by line instructions on how to update the tables, but
no dice.

So, any public relations types at Missouri embarrassed by us putting them
down yet? :-)

And has anyone seen a LISTSERV running at an earlier table version? I
think that 1.8B's require manual action to update their tables, so there
may be some true antiques out there.
