Anyone who knows the URL can get to the list's "front page". Whether or not they
can view messages in the list archives will depend upon the list configuration.
If the access rights on the archives are set to 'Public', anyone can view
messages in the list archives. If the access rights on the archives are set to
'Private', only list subscribers can view messages in the list archives. Other
settings are possible. For example, we make super-list archives accessible to
sub-list subscribers.
