Hello together

If we want to "Register the LISTSERV password" via the Web-Interface (as
necessary for list owners and LISTSERV administrator) then LISTSERV tries to
send an email to us for confirmation which gives the error:

We do not want to enable telnet to port 25 to the normal hostname. Is it
possible to configure LISTSERV such that it builds up the connection via a
Smart Host name or even takes sendmail to send it?
