I recently installed the 9409 updates, which included, for USCVM,
newnode.vm.usc.edu.   The reasoning was to change various subscriptions
from *@uscvm to *@vm.usc.edu.  since then, listserv does not recognize
anyone as postmaster or even itself.   (when you log into listserv, and
enter the command shutdown, you get:
8 Sep 1994 13:20:42 From [log in to unmask]: shutdown
8 Sep 1994 13:20:42 To   [log in to unmask]: You are not authorized to use the
 
SHUTDOWN command.
8 Sep 1994 13:20:42 Sent information mail to:
                    > [log in to unmask] (-> POSTMAST@USCVM)
 
I have added vm.usc.edu to the list of node in local sysvars, and to
the mydomain as well, without effect.
 
How do i get listserv to realize that vm.usc.edu is uscvm?
