Hello all,

Is there anywhere a breakdown of how Listserv uses it control codes at the
end of subscribers details. I am having to translate a very large number of
people from one list format (non-listserv or major-domo) with options that
are similar to listserv, but not identical, and I was wondering if there is
any way in which I can manually create the codes. Thus I need a description
of how the codes are applied.

I have checked the manuals and they say don't do it to change existing subs
but this is creating new ones and I am feeling adventurous.

I am in the process at present of creating a dummy id and changing it's
options through various settings in an attempt to unravel this mystery but
would much prefer a quick explanation.
