That looks like the installation manual for the original 16.0 version. As I recall, the DMARC version installs fairly straight forward for anyone who has installed Windows software. I don't recall anything requiring special handling. DMARC configuration was built-in and required no configuration. You do not need to create any DNS records for the DMARC "patch".

If you are talking about just upgrading for DMARC compatibility, it took just a few minutes to install the latest version when I upgraded in Spring 2014.

Best practices:

- Make a backup of your LISTSERV directory. Our installation uses one directory tree C:\LISTSERV for LISTS, LOG, MAIN, SPOOL, TMP, and WWW.

- Take a snapshot of your Windows VM (VMware virtual host) or use the Windows Recovery Point.

- Notify power users or your support desk of planned outage.

- Ensure you have the latest Windows patches.

- Talk to your Windows AD administrators if you haven't done this before.

- Follow the L-Soft upgrade procedure.

Hello,

I am looking for some feed back regarding how long it has taken Administrators to upgrade their windows 64bit listserv v16.0 to 16.0 2014b

I have a 13 GB List directory with 1519 Lists, any feed back would be appreciated,

regards
