This is just a guess:
 
Though the LISTSERV@sjuvm is responding "nicely," its bitnet/Internet
gateway (SMTP2) does not seem to be logged on.  That is the process that
is handling your particular susbscription distributions.
 
Also, for personal mail, the other process SMTP is logged on but there
seems to be a small backlog to hosts in the wimsey.com domain.
 
I suggest a followup note to: [log in to unmask] + [log in to unmask]
