I think I blew it.  I was trying to update my LISTSERV's LINKSWT FILE and
used a PUT command with my personal PW.  Not only did my LISTSERV accept
the file, but it proceeded to DISTRIBUTE it, apparently to all the
rest of the servers.  I don't often use PUT, and I certainly wasn't
expecting the update to escape from my machine.  It looks like all
the other servers are rejecting the update attempt, but I apologize
for any alarms this may have set off.
