}     Object all you want.  It was already a "SHOULD NOT generate"
} in RFC 1123 (over six years ago), and the practice is becoming more

RFC1123 also stated that the target location "MUST accept" mail with source
routes.

While AOL MUST accept mail address as shown, CERF is not obligated to
implement a mail relay function and need not accept mail as addressed. Nor
would AOL be obligated if the address were

        @aol.com:[log in to unmask]

The latter would be "trespass of chattel".  The former "breach of contract".

Now if only something could be done about the a.mx....
