The Sender: header-field should only be used by mailer-deamons and other
programs to return error-messages concerning delivery and the like. Your
mailing-list software should use the From: header or (if present) the
Reply-To: header as the subscriber's address.
 
So, if your subscriber makes a mistake in the syntax or format of the
command th mailing-list robot should use the Reply-To: or From: header to
return an error message.
