I've been able to define my filelist called VMS and have even written
an LSVPUT.COM for VMS which allows me to store the files.  My question
is:
   I have these lines in VMS FILELIST:
 
   *
   *+ VXC= GERLAND@UBVMS
   *+ VXC= PW=VMSPASS
   *
 
   But whenever I send LISTSERV an IND VMS command from some other userid,
   it sends me the filelist but is not stripping out the PW= line.  I know
   I must be doing something wrong.  Can anyone help?
 
   Also, this VMS FILELIST is ugly in that it is made up of entries like:
 
   MAKE SHAR1_5
   MAKE SHAR2_5
   MAKE SHAR3_5
   MAKE SHAR4_5
   MAKE SHAR5_5
 
   I know it's possible to define these as MAKE PACKAGE but how?  Can
   anyone give me a brief tutorial or examples?
