By looking at the headers *very carefully* you should be able to determine if the LISTSERV's mail client, as opposed to the poster's mail client, is resending.  It may help to have the very original list distrbution to compare against the duplicate's headers.

Having no explicitly defined LOOPCHECK= is the default and is the best anti-loop settings for a "normal" list e.g., the default may not be appropriate if the list is the target of legit. automation messages.
