A  VAX/VMS  version  of  the  interactive  LISTSERV  database  access  program
(LDBASE.COM) is now available (as LDBASE COM from TOOLS FILELIST) from all the
LISTSERVs. Note that this one corresponds to the LDBASE.COM that was mentioned
in the  documentation, it's not  a new version  of the older  LDBASE.COM which
operated in batch  mode. The program is written in  VMS FORTRAN; executing the
program (@LDBASE) will simply unpack the  share file and give you instructions
about compiling and executing the actual program. Everything has been packaged
in such a  way that you don't need  to know what F O  R T R A N  stands for in
order to be able to compile and use the program :-)
