You have a good point: the origin of the file is in the "FROM" dataset
(as indicated by the FROM=DD=From), and this dataset is not displayed on the
LISTSERV console. I will modify the code to display the origin of the file.
Well, the files come from LISTSERV@somenode, right, but you get a message
telling you from whom it came. The sender can request this notification being
sent via mail (INFORM=MAIL).
You have no way to be sure the files come from me. Even if I was sending the
files directly to you with SENDFILE you would have no way to check it out. If
you don't believe me I'll send you a file from yourself ;-) This problem is
due to the structure of the RSCS network, it's a big problem, there is really
no solution, but the point is I'm not sure DISTRIBUTE makes it A LOT worse...
I'm in the process of switching CP3 to CP4 so my node may be unavailable in
the following hours. Just for your info.
