Of course it would be useful to have better distribution channels
within Bitnet/Earn/Netnorth for Arpa mailing lists. The main problem
are those damned 8 character userids. It's easy to find abbreviations
for 5 list names. But to find unique names for 50 long list names +
some local lists + who knows what else is hard.
 
Maybe the implementation of Netnews implementation for VM is better suited
for this task. Listserv could help if the naming problem can be solved.
