Those errors indicate that you've applied a 1.8c or later stdcmd.file
to your 1.8b installation...it <shouldn't> cause a problem but you will
get these errors in the log.  If you were upgrading to 1.8c this
suggests that you somehow applied only common.tar.Z and not both
common.tar.Z and the 'uname'.tar.Z for your platform.  Otherwise
I'm not sure where you got this version of stdcmd.file .
