We don't currently have any way for a user to self-activate automatic
forwarding of mail and/or files which arrive in the user's virtual reader
without requiring the user's virtual machine to run disconnected.

LISTERV could nicely solve this problem for us if it simply allowed any local
user to create and own a non-public, non-advertized list where the list name
matched the user's ID. Then, all the user would need to do is tell LISTSERV to
create the list and subscribe a (one!) forwarding address to the list, e.g.,
TELL LISTSERV FORWARD <MAIL/FILES/ALL> TO another.user@some.wherelse...
The forwarding address could be changed similarly. To deactivate forwarding,
the user would need to tell LISTSERV to eliminate the list, e.g.,
    TELL LISTSERV UNFORWARD <MAIL/FILES/ALL>
Perhaps someone has already hacked LISTSERV to do this or something similar??
