Actually Chris Condon's Netmonth magazine has a section to announce new
mailing lists and it does have a pretty high readership. Anyone interested
in joining new lists could get a copy of that from whatever servers supply
it (CSNEWS at Maine does I think - I'm not sure who else does). Sending
out a list announcing new lists would not work because you would have to mail
to everyone on bitnet (or maybe just one to each site to be installed on
a public disk I suppose). It seems to me that we should be consolidating
all information that would interest potential bitnet users and Netmonth
seems to be the most appropriate place  since it does come out quite
regularly on schedule.
