The following list create mail died with the following error message.
Here's the mail:

PUT TEST-LISTSERV.LIST PW=XXXXXXX
*
* Sample list for testing
*
* Notebook=
Yes,/export/forums/listserv/home/lists/test-listserv,Monthly,Public
* Notify= Yes
* Reply-to= List,Respect
* Review= Public
* Send= Public
* Subscription= Open
* Validate= No
*
* Owner= [log in to unmask]

Here's the error message:

Invalid                RFC822               address                -
Yes,/export/forums/listserv/home/lists/test-listserv,Monthly,Public.
Recipient ignored.
-> * Notify= Yes

Header lines must be grouped at the beginning of the file; they may not be
interspersed with recipients. Note that you will get this message if you
attempt to update a list you had retrieved via the REVIEW command. You must
not do that because the subscribers' options would be lost in the process,
and concealed subscribers would be silently removed from the list. Always
use the GET command when you plan to update the list.

PUT operation rejected, list has not been created.

(end of cut and paste)

The same list create mail worked as expected when I had the values TESTLIST
and /testlist instead of TEST_LISTSERV and /test-listserv.

This is something really obvious I'm missing, right? Thanks!

cheers, Elizabeth
