I'm coming in late on this discussion, and as we aren't a LISTSERV
site yet in some sense its none of my business, but it seems to
me that just the way RELAY is good for the network as a whole,
anything we can do to alleviate distribution bottlenecks anywhere
in the network is good for the network as a whole.  I hope that
most LISTSERVers will participate in the ARPA digest resdistribution
effort.
 
As we are on ARPA (node FORSYTHE.STANFORD.EDU) as well as BITNET
I'd certainly be willing to help out by subdistibuting some portion
of things on a temporary basis if that would help.  It would have to
via a fixed distribution list that someone sends me though.
