LISTSERV Lite for what platform?  Unix?  NT?

No, not if you have the SMTP_FORWARD* keywords in your site configuration
file pointing somewhere else.  Of course the "somewhere else" must have
a mail server and must be configured to accept relay mail from your
LISTSERV machine.  It would be most helpful to know what platform you
are running on and to see the contents of any SMTP_FORWARD* keywords
you have defined in your site configuration file.
