The default is none, and the mailfile from LISTSERV tells you to type:
 
          TELL LISTSERV AT FRECP11 CONFIRM COFFEE-L
 
If  you can't  understand what  it means  and want  to resort  to the  docs to
understand the message, then I doubt you will be helped by the doc *at all*.
