This is a Windows NT matter, not Listserv. There are several products that
handle backups of Windows NT files. Backing up a Listserv list that's
hosted on an NT system is no different than backing up any other file on
that same system. Any of the popular Windows NT backup products would
accomplish what you want.

On the other hand, if you are the owner of the list and not the
administrator for the Listserv that handles that list, then certainly your
method would work, even though its not effecient, but for only a few
lists, efficiency is probably not a major consideration.
