Not quite (He only addresses the list's configuration file).
There are other files associated with a list which are also
"important" to the list (if not to LISTSERV), and also should be
important to the list's owner (and subscribers too), including
the list's archives of postings (NOTEBOOK), the list's
welcome/farewell/mailtpl files, maybe it's www interface files,
changelog file, etc.

It really depends on what your purpose in "backing up" a list is.
