the serve-off notice displayes the internet form of our address, but
when I try to serve the user back on, typing the id@address EXACTLY
as displayed in the serve-off notice, it appears that the address is
translated to the bitnet form BEFORE doing the compare ???  Is this
a correct analysis of the following ?                   - mike
