I've used ListServ almost exclusively on Linux.  Recently mostly Debian
Linux.  Works great.  You might want to make sure that you're running
postfix as an MTA though (I've had better luck with Postfix than EXIM, and
almost noone in the Linux world uses Sendmail by default, but it's still an
option on most distros).  IIRC the AIX and Linux licenses differ so you may
have to get a new license, or convince L-Soft to rekey your license so that
it will run on Linux.
