The file I am sending is called LISTSERV REQUEST.  It contains two lines:
   SUB <listname> Netnews Server
   SET <listname> FULLHDR NOFILES
 
Most Listservs (including ours, where I tested this) accept this; some
(like UBVM's) do not.
