BTW Bill, your server does respond to EHLO if you use the correct syntax EHLO [text string of device making contact]
220 LISTSERV.WNYRIC.ORG ready.
ehlo rfc5321
250 Go ahead.
helo rfc821
250 Go ahead.
quit
221 Closing connection.

RFC 2821 section 2.2.1 dated April 2001 requires that servers MUST support the EHLO command.  Is Listserv 15 not RFC2821 compliant?
