Sorry, what exactly do you mean by "GNU lists"?

'Mailman' (www.list.org),
'listproc' (listproc.sourceforge.net),
'Majordomo' (www.greatcircle.com/majordomo/) or some other list manangement software (besides LISTSERV(R))?
