Look in the September 2001 archives of this list
(http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa.exe?A1=ind0109&L=lstsrv-l#5).  There
was a short discussion of exactly the same issue but I don't think there was
any sort of resolution.  Perhaps contacting the original authors might be of
benefit.
