I had a small wish for the next LISTSERV release:
"Suppressing the repeated messages from a single host"
I manage the OS2-L@HEARN list, and when there is a bounce, I get at least
50 copies from each site that bounced. If I am slow at deleting the user,
this number goes into hundreds very quickly.
I wish LISTSERV would summarise this mess, stating
"We got N messages from [log in to unmask]
for OS2-L, here is a copy of ONE of those messages:"
Right now, not only do I waste time swimming thru all these messages
(more like drowning), but also I waste valuable bandwidth.
Just a thought :) -turgut
