GUNROOM, a discussion community for fans of author Patrick O'Brian, won the December vote in The Mailys with 53.77% of the tally, becoming the fourth of five finalists eligible for grand prize consideration. GUNROOM allows subscribers to discuss O'Brian's works and share insights and information about the British Navy and nautical world of the 1800s, thereby enhancing the enjoyment and understanding of O'Brian's books and characters.
